Window Clings

• Window decals have a sticky adhesive side and are semi-permanent, they are also not as affected by weather and sunlight. Great for outside storefront windows displaying hours or company names.
• Window clings attach to cohesively smooth surfaces, are repositionable, and are more susceptible to damage in weather conditions. Perfect for temporary sale signage or indoor window placement.
• Perforated window vinyl has tiny evenly spaced holes on the print. It can only be viewed from outside your storefront, while it still allows customers inside the store to see outside. This is great for viewing from far distances, and it is the most weather resistant.

Window clings are meant to be applied to flat glass surfaces.

You will need: soap, spray bottle, hard straight edge tool, masking or painters tape (optional), level (optional)

• First, clean the window surface with soap and water. 
• Position your decal where you desire
  • Pro tip: Tape the top of the decal onto the window allowing it to hinge when lifted from the bottom. You will remove this after the smoothing process.
  • Pro tip: Using a level will give your decal an additional degree of accuracy.
• Carefully remove the protective covering from the decal.
• In a spray bottle, mix one drop of dish soap with water and spray the location you are placing the decal, as well as the adhesive side of the decal. This allows you to slide any wrinkles or air bubbles out.
• Place the decal onto the window from the top down, and slide the hard-edged tool from the center outwards. 
  • Pro tip: you can use a soft cloth or paper towel over the hard-edged tool to avoid ripping or tearing your graphic.
  • If the tape was used to secure in place, remove carefully from the decal out to ensure the graphic does not peel off.

No - window clings can only be single-sided.

It is up to you how you want to display your static cling! If you have tinted windows it would be best to install the decal outside. If you have concerns about weather (such as rain or heat), you can always reposition the decal.

“Inside-glass” is printed on the cling side of the decal, so it is viewed through the glass. “Outside-glass” has the cling on the back and is placed on the outside glass surface.

Yes -the static cling material can be repositioned on a clean and dry surface. The static cling vinyl is soft and pliable and will act as a flat suction cup to whatever smooth, flat surface you place it on.

Custom window clings are printed on static clings. This is a thin, flexible vinyl material that adheres easily to smooth glass surfaces.

We recommend cleaning your static window cling if they have been installed for a long time to get rid of dirt buildup on the static side. You can use cool soapy water to wash them and let them air dry.
